Another morning with a classic San Diego SW summer swell. Surf is consistently shoulder to head high; going plus on the sets. Shape is a tad walled up but if you know the reef at 15th street you can be in position for really nice, fat left hook. But you gotta wait for it. You and about 75 other people who have the same idea. Crowd is evenly spread out across all the line ups which is not good news for those of you who like the "secret" south reef take off zone. A little further south still, 11th street is larger and meaner. Looking to be in the 8-10 foot range; with another 50 or so scrapping for that. Tide is still flowing in to a 4.4 at 9:30am and then ebbing to a 1.8 at 2:30pm.
