But still some substantial surf. Shoulder to head with plus stuff on the sets. Fair to poor shape. Slightly rippled sea surface. Calm winds. Super high morning tides continue to make it sluggish. Long lulls. Positioning is tricky; you want to be close enough in but far enough out so you can scratch over the occasional 8 foot sets. Tres Palms is wickedly tubular.
