Starting to Calm Down (a bit)

Still pretty jumbled up out there.  Waist to shoulder high close order wind swell.  Wind is not nearly as strong as yesterday but the small craft warning is still in effect until later this evening.  Some folks are calling for tomorrow to be a surf day.  We'll see.  One guy was out when I got there but came in right after this ride.

Say, did you know that our beach was adopted?  I didn't even know it was an orphan!  Googled AMN Healthcare; they are a healthcare staffing and management company.  Good for them.  Too bad the Powerhouse Surfing Association didn't think of adopting.  BTW, how is the 2011 calendar coming along?

Wanted to make you aware of a new link on the blog.  Hawaii Surf Session Report.  I have been a fan of Tom's podcasts for years.  His videos are great and are filled with great surf, good music and lots of local color.  Be sure to check it out.

Have a good one

Aloha
Gary
