Soft, waist high peaks pushing through this morning. Light offshores, glassy conditions and a small crowd (10). Some doubling up but there are some A-frames here and there. Tres Palmas is also waist high but the waves are standing up and pitching out there.
Save the date: paddle out for Bob Fipp on October 13th at 10am at the PowerHouse. Bob is best remembered for his stubborn refusal to surf a long board but still catch more than his share of waves at 15th street. Terry profiled him a few years back in a UT article where Bob noted that he had owned the same wetsuit for 15 years. RipCurl, O'Neill and Quicksilver did not consider him one of their better customers.
