Low tide lines

Not enough water, not enough swell but plenty of people. Clean surface conditions, slight swirling eddy breezes and thigh to maybe waist high "things". Essentially flat with occasional flatness on the outside. 15 spring breakers out there floundering about, pearling into the sandbar and coming up laughing. Which just goes to prove that old adage; "you can always have fun surfing".

Hmmm...

Not much out there this morning. Glassy conditions with some lined up waist high shore break dumpers. 3 people out. Most of the south swell is gone and the WNW is not really happening at 15th street. So, even though there is the rare closed out southern set, I'm going to call it "flat". A good day for skim boards and sand castles.

Incoming tide...

Glassy conditions, thigh to waist high, larger sets. Fair shape with most of the action on the inside sandbar. Looks like the longer period SSW is fading away and being replaced with some short period wind swell. Nice looking water but the surf is weak and inconsistent. So, I hope you were able to surf earlier in the week; it's going to get smaller the rest of the week. But who knows, you might get lucky.

It's dark...

Well, it's twilight actually. Glassy conditions, smaller than yesterday, about waist to chest with fair shape and 10 guys out. Some doubling up and long lulls but there are some peaks here and there. So there's waves just too many people in the line up for what there is.
