Needs more tide

Small (2-3 ft) crumblers desperately attempting to reach shore. Minus tide, poor+ shape, south wind texture with 9 guys out.

Maybe tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I'm meeting with Robin tomorrow morning for the shaping of my new board (finally). Will let you know how that goes. Should be mystical. Or is that mythical? BTW, no one guessed the correct day for this, so all of you owe Clay and I beers. One from each of you. Did I forget to mention that part of the deal?

Have a good one.

It's like............SMALL

2 hours off a -1.4 tide and you can practically walk all the way out to the reef. 8 guys out with apparently nothing better to do this morning as it is tiny (ankle to shin high), weak and unremarkable. Glassy surface conditions although there is a light south wind coming and going.

Clay just came in (that's him in the foreground of the photo) and Luke is still out there trying, I think, to get one with enough juice to push him to shore.

Have a good one.

Question

Does this include the lineup at 15th street?

Not Crowded!

Except for the 66 degree water, this could easily be a typical winter day at DM. Gray, windy, moderately large short interval west wind swell close outs pushing through. Shoulder to head high; maybe larger on the sets. One guy out.

Lots of water moving around. Won't be an easy paddle out. Rodney just told me about 3 people on Costco boards getting sucked out about 1/2 mile in yesterdays' currents. Eventually they all made it back in safely but were barely able to move when the finally did reach shore.

Damn Costco boards will get you into trouble every time.

Clay and I heard that Robin picked up our blanks yesterday. That means the shaping session can't be far off. Yahoooooooooooooooooooo!

Have a good one.
