Still glassy

With a bit more surf too. Which is being hampered by a still dropping negative tide. Knee to waist high, drained out SSW lines. Better than yesterday but still not all that good. More tide will help a lot; size and shape wise. So, if you can wait for that you may have a better go out cause the 15 guys out in the line up right now aren't having much luck.

Eddy is a no show!

But so is the surf and the tide (-1.2 right now). Glassy, calm conditions with ankle to knee high shore break. Poor shape. Water temps have dropped off some, so there's that too. 6 people out.

Best bet; the beach is 100 yards wide this morning so get down here and take a walk from 15th street to flat rock at Torrey Pines and back. Maybe the surf and tide will have come up by then.

More of the same...

Lots and lots of beach; no waves. And onshore breezes. I'm going to go out on a limb here and call this morning "FLAT". Not much else to say about it.

A -1.8 minus tide

At 5 am has left us with lots and lots of beach and some really tiny, drained out windswell lines. Ankle to calf high very short period surf. SSE eddy winds have provided a fair amount if surface texture. It's just not very good. Or as Frank said as he exited the water, "It's crappy, really crappy". So there you have it.
