Lumpy

And disorganized. Waist to chest and shoulder high on the sets. The set waves are stacked up right on top of each other and difficult to drop into. Poor shape. Larger at Tres Palms; walled up and closing out. Very light offshore breeze, thinning marine layer and water in the upper 60's. Super high tide (6.9) this afternoon.

Funky Large

Short period chest to shoulder and head high on the sets. Walled up and not many corners to slide into. Fair conditions; poor shape. Biggest at Tres Palms with most of the line up there this morning. Not a soul out on the reef. Moderate SE wind has put a crinkle on the water.

More wave action!

And a bit more wind as well. SE eddy winds have put some texture on the water this morning. Strong outer water winds have pulsed up some waist to chest high short period surf. Walled up and sectiony with poor to fair shape. Lined up at Tres Palms; peaky on the reef. 15 guys out.

Looks like there was a party here last night:

Glassy, glassy, glassy

And the surf has kicked up a notch We have most excellent conditions with some knee to waist higb surf. WNW windswell with some longer period underlying south. Inconsistent and sort of sloppy on the reef, larger and steeper just to the north at Tres Palms. 2 people out.

The cloud cover looks less dense so we should have some sun soon.
