Clean conditions with some nice high tide lines. Waist to chest high surf struggling against the tide but still managing to give up some good looking walls. Light wind out of the west with smooth sea surface conditions. Sets are going shoulder high. 4.2 tide right now. Flowing out to a 1.3 low at 5 pm. About 10 people out.

Spin cycle! Large, lumpy lumbering wave action this morning. And a 6.0 high tide to top it off. Head to overhead; shapeless and shifting peaks with no lulls. Tons of white water. Some people out but no surfing going on to speak of. Short story: it's a mess. A -0.2 tide shows up at 4:30pm. Spring break for some so the beach is just packed with people. None of whom are equipped for this wave action and strong southerly currents.

Moderate NW winds (9mph) have put a significant bump and chunk on the water. Whitecaps here and there. Surf is all crossed up and in the chest to head high range. There are 4 guys out giving it a go on the sandbars in front of the grass area. Short, dumpy rides with an unhappy ending. Just past a 5.5 high tide. A -0.2 low tide at 1pm.

Sunny skies, mild temps and lots of surf. Same W swell combo giving us shoulder to head high stuff; going + on the sets. Somewhat walled up due to swell direction but if you know the reef contours you can whirl in to a big fat corner and get a decent ride. Set waves are tightly packed so don't take the first one. Just coming off a 5.1 high tide, reaching a 0.2 low at 12:30pm. Glassy sea surface conditions with no wind. About 6 people out.
